Mick Pantal is a Professor of Business Economics at the State University of Haiti. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Currently, Dr Pantal is the Coordinator of Haiti Business Development and Investment (BDI), a World-bank-funded project that uses disruptive technologies in the fight against poverty in both urban and rural areas in Haiti. BDI is the first government project that uses blockchain technologies to support value chains in the Caribbean. Before joining the Ministry of Trade and Industry in Haiti, Mick worked as an Senior Analyst at the Library of Parliament in Ottawa, ON, Canada.
