Anne-Marie Friel

Pinsent Masons LLP

Anne-Marie focuses on the provision of transactional legal advice to clients within the infrastructure sector, a sector she has worked across for 19 years. She specialises in the implementation of new risk sharing approaches (including collaborative delivery models and construction joint ventures), complex renegotiations on major infrastructure projects and on advising buyers and sellers of infrastructure assets on the risks present within infrastructure services businesses. Her particular market focus includes transport (road and rail), waste, water and FM. She often presents to audiences on issues affecting the infrastructure sector and actively promotes the continuous improvement of and innovation in the delivery of legal services to Pinsent Masons’ infrastructure clients. Anne-Marie is part of Pinsent Masons’ dedicated team looking at “Infratech”, a term used to describe the digital transformation of infrastructure assets, including recently leading a workshop on the use of data at the July 2018 launch of the Digital Transformation Benchmarking Report within the UK’s Infrastructure Client Group’s “Project 13” initiative.
